If you like small quiet camp sites where you can have a campfire and enjoy the sights and sounds of the countryside then we are the site for you.
We pride ourselves in offering campers a taste of camping the way it used to be, you wont find any electric hook ups or club house here, nor will you be camping cheek and cowl next to the neighbour's tent. What you will find in the bucket load is the joys of nature, listen to the birds, spot the rabbits or squirrels and at night listen to the owls and foxes and gaze at the star lit night as you sit by your campfire.
Our small campsite is in a secluded spot on the farm it is surrounded on two sides by a small stream, and woodland and fields on other half.
This camping field has a total of 15 pitches which include spaces in woodland glades and pitches in the field.
Campfires are allowed but we would ask that you use the same spot as previous campers as this will reduce the impact the fire will have on the local plant life, and provide more grazing for the sheep in the winter. Please do not take any fallen logs from the wood as it will upset the ecological balance of the woodland. Logs can be purchased for £5 a bag.
Weather permitting you will be able to drive to the field pitches to unpack but your car must be then driven to the car park. Woodland glade pitches are only accessible by foot and a wheelbarrow is provided to help with transportation.
