Is on a grass and rock promentory overlooking skye , eigg rumm and muck. fires are allowed off the grass or any size fire allowed on the silver sandy beaches. very child friendly, very dog friendly... Fires on the beach tend to draw all the folks from the campsite to it as the campsite itself is not massive. Many a campfire there has had numerous musicians gathered around it playing. loads of walks there is a small plantaition which wood can be gathered from but you are asked not to cut down the living trees. there is an abundance of woods on the route to the campsite from fort william with many sections getting felled leaving piles of smaller wood. its about £18 for a very large tent... i had a 12 person... £10 for a medium sized tent... 6 person and only £6 for a small tent. there is outside pot washing facilities one shower per toilet block... one male one female. the female block now has a washer and a dryer. its a spit and sawdust campsite but the views and beaches are just amazing. great kayaking area with lots of coves and beaches deserted. Loch morar not far away with noats to hire or take your own... no launch fees to worry about. great fast water to play in from loch morar to the estury where the famous silver sand of morar are. Well worth a visit
