North Wales seaside camping, caravan site and holiday cottage on the Llyn peninsula. Snowdonia and all other North Wales major attractions close by. The site adjoins a private beach which is safe for bathing and there is access for boat launching. There are 15 acres of valley grounds, 5 acres of which are sheltered, level pitches. The toilet block has showers and shaving points, the site has water points, electric hook ups and chemical disposal points. Laundry and dishwashing facilities are available along with a small site shop open during the main holiday period.

25th June 2008I camped for two weeks at Aberafon last year (2007) with my family and a family of friends. The site is flat and generally well drained BUT, you can only light fires on the beach, not on the site itself. We used our off ground BBQ both for cooking and as a small campfire without any problems, but it isn't the same as sitting round a proper fire. We were in the field next to the sea on the bottom left of the arial view, almost on the edge of the steep escarpment down to the beach (access to the beach is only possible via the track down to the slipway in the bottom right of the photo), which should have been great, but was spoilt by the smell of a drain which I imagine carries run-off from the septic tanks straight over the edge of the cliff! I'd say 6/10
